Terrible.
When we walked into the cabin, we were instantly overwhelmed with the smell of mildew. I know they are aware of the problem, because they had DampRid containers that didn’t touch the smell. There was food and trash debris on the side of the refrigerator, since the garbage is next to it, which hasn’t been wiped off in a LONG time. The tub was dirty and the upstairs shower was holding water and unusable. The dresser upstairs also had empty water bottles and dirty, used masks stuffed behind them. The balcony has ONE dry rotted plastic chair, so no outside enjoyment. All of the furniture looks filthy and the comforter was so old that the stuffing is missing, and is only a shell of material. The mildew smell was so pronounced, that my asthma was constantly triggered, causing us to leave a day early. I will NEVER rely on pictures again, but will pay close attention to these reviews. It was just terrible. The ONLY good thing was the location, but not worth it.

The cabin is very dated but comfortable enough for a short stay. The host/owners were great to work with. The only reason I would not stay here again is the driveway. It isn’t just rough, there are deep ruts going all the way across which could easily ruin a regular car. Thankfully my daughter had her pickup or we would have had to find other accommodations. I would recommend staying there only if you have the proper vehicle. 4 wheel drive would be best.

Firefly Hill Cabin
The cabin and it's amenities was exactly as described. Finding it was a bit of a challenge, but we managed. Quiet, and peaceful setting except for the yappy dog next door at 11:30 PM and 5:30 AM.

Could have been better
Kitchen was very small, upstairs shower stall extremely small, furniture was older, thought it had a hot tub, turned out to be a jacuzzi tub, may be my fault, the loft had no wall or door so no privacy. Other than that, it was okay.

Overall good. We had difficulty getting the TV to work properly but someone from rental agency came and tried to help. It was very confusing.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was clean and nice and cozy for couples who want to get away. It was close to Helen so it was in the perfect location.

Great little cabin
Nestled in the trees on a secluded hill just above Helen this is a great little cabin for up to 4 people. Interior nice and very clean. Small but serviceable kitchen combined with sitting area with cable TV and fireplace. Each sleeping area has a bathroom. There is a deck and balcony but they are not maintained and mostly unusable but that wasn't an issue for us and wouldn't discourage a future return visit. Couldn't ask for a quieter more peaceful location.

I love nature! Just not inside the cabin.
The stay was okay except for the wasp (about 30) inside the cabin. ( I got stung) both Stephanie w. and the Stephanie at the office, were amazing in helping. The other staff at the office left a lot to be desired though. I will be visiting Helen again, I love the place! Just not with this company.

Nice stay with clean cabin
We didn’t know what to expect, this being our first VRBO experience. We were unsure where exactly the cabin was located, but we were able to use the satellite map to see that the cabin was on a dirt road that google maps couldn’t find. The cabin was clean and fresh! We were hoping to be able to walk into town from the cabin; however, the dirt road is up a steep hill in the mountains, so I would not recommend walking. It was a quick 2 minute drive into town and $5 to park for the day, so not a bad trade off. The cabin was spacious; however, not well insulated, so every sound was very audible. The second bed is in a lofted area, which is not really noticeable from the photos. So we could hear everything our friends did as they moved around, even to use the restroom. All in all, it was a beautiful cabin that was clean and had great space, but somewhat difficult to sleep in with all of the noise. I would definitely recommend this place for those seeking a quiet place to come back to after enjoying the town of Helen.
