Luxury Mountain View Chalet

We stayed at this property for a Georgia Wine Highway trip. It was clean and spacious with a fantastic view off the wrap-around deck. We would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed during Christmas. It’s a beautiful home with a beautiful view. The hot tub on the deck was a win for our kids. The jacuzzi tubs are jammed and we were disappointed but overall it was a win. If there had been a ping pong adapter to attach to the pool table that would have been the cherry on top as my grandchildren love ping pong. The views were breathtaking. Gorgeous home

Incredible views! Lovely quiet neighborhood. Great location to visit Helen GA and all of the other communities in the area. We came the week after Thanksgiving and there were lots of Holiday light displays in local communities. There were 7 adults in our group, all family. Tons of space so when you want some privacy, you can have it. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen, we prepared most of our meals including a belated Thanksgiving dinner!

This chalet was perfect for our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids age 10 and under). There was plenty of room for everyone. The living room was spacious enough. The kitchen/dining area was adequate. The downstairs game room was a big hit with both the kids and adults. The view on the back side of the chalet was spectacular. Conveniently located and only 15 minutes from Helen and other places of interest. We would definitely recommend this property.

This property was amazing! The pictures don't do it justice! The view was more beautiful than we expected and the space was wonderful for our college Sunday School group. We had a wonderful time gathering in the house for meals and time together. Plenty of space and fun. We will absolutely stay again!

Great location with beautiful veiws. Everyone had a great stay. Possible do over!!! The only bad points were the oven wasnt, clean and there were fleas.

Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed the views! We sent maintenance out to check for fleas and they were unable to find any sign of them. We have had no other guests to complain of fleas so wonder if it was possibly mosquitoes or other bite received when outside.

When we arrived the home was in excellent condition. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We requested propane and it arrived in a couple of hours. We enjoyed the mountains and all of the trails and local sights. It was an enjoyable week and the game room was perfect for the family.

Luxury Mountain View Chalet was perfect for our needs. I enjoyed the chalet and the stay so much that I am already planning another stay at this location. The view is gorgeous. I am not a fan of traveling up mountains; however, the road to the cabin was not bad. The location is convenient to stores, restaurants, Downtown Helen, wineries, and the spa. I enjoyed my stay!

The house is located on a quite street about 15 minutes from downtown Helen. The view from the house is outstanding! The house is well equipped with everything you need to an awesome vacation. The game room was a hit with the group! I highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a great vacation!

This home is extremely outdated from the decor to the furniture. The bedding is horrible. We had a broken shower and another was clogged. Couch was full of pet hair, vents full of dust. There was absolutely nothing luxurious about this home. The sole positive thing would be the view. For the money you can find many other rentals properties with the same view in a home furnished from the current century.

The house was perfect for a large family, especially with children. The location was great and very easy to get to Helen. View was gorgeous. Game room was fun! Only thing we would change is to make sure they dust and clean the air vents as the place had spider webs and dust everywhere, other than that it was perfect!!! We would go back!

Went for a family getaway and this house was perfect for 4 couples with children. We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Spent a lot of time playing in the downstairs game room because of the weather and it was big enough for the whole family.
I will say though not to expect that everything is in perfect condition. There were a few little things that needed some TLC but over all it was fine for us. The management company was very attentive with checking to make sure everything was going good during our stay. Over all I would give this property a 9 out of 10.

My family needed a large home that was located near Yonah Vineyard where my nephew was getting married. This home was perfect for us! We were less than 10 minutes away from the vineyard and very close to Helen and Cleveland. The home had plenty of room for the 9 of us to hang out and relax for the week and having 4 bathrooms was great! The house was clean and in good condition overall but it could use a little updating, but it wasn’t a problem for us at all. The view from the deck was beautiful and the sunrises were spectacular! The rental company was very easy to work with from check in to check out. We normally like to rent homes on the water but having so many parks and waterfalls within less than an hour gave us the opportunity to see some beautiful places. I highly recommend Luxury Mountain View Chalet if you are looking for a home for a large group!

My family and I rented this cabin for New Years, and it was exactly what we needed. The cabin was plenty of space for all 8 adults and 2 children with room for all of us to be together as well as retreat to our own spaces. The best thing by far was the early morning view of the gorgeous sunrise. We also enjoyed the proximity to Helen, the grocery store in Cleveland and a few of the beautiful wineries.

Dec. 20-23, 2020. Our family decided in July that we wanted to get away for a few days around the Christmas holidays after we lost our 30 yr old daughter to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in May of this year.

It was a wonderful trip for our family making some new memories, while remembering past memories.

While we were in town, we shopped in Helen, visited the Grist Mill and went to Unicoi State Park and watched several family members try their skill at shooting targets at the archery range. We also had lunch at the Alpine Hot Dog & Grill Burger, which had great pizza, chicken wings and giant-sized Reuben sandwiches, which were all delicious.

The house was the perfect size for our family of 10, and the view of the mountains from the deck was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed our trip and hope to stay there again in the near future!

We enjoyed our stay at the Luxury Mountain View Chalet. The bedrooms were spacious and there was plenty of room for our large family to spread out. The game room downstairs was equipped with pool table, foosball table, air hockey, and shuffleboard, which the kids found to be especially fun. There are tons of puzzles around the house that we enjoyed putting together in the evenings. The fire pit outside is great for gathering space as well. Our visit in the summer limited the amount of time we spent outdoors, but the views from the deck were amazing. The hot tub needed servicing while we were there, and it was the only issue we had with the property. (When we called about the issue, someone was sent out that morning to look into it, so great customer service!) The kitchen has plenty of cooking space and items should you choose to bring your own food. I loved how the property was tucked away. It made you feel like you were on your own little island away from everything. At the same time, it was just a short drive to local attractions in Helen such as tubing, mini golf, shopping, and hiking at Unicoi State Park. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to stay here again in the future.

This cabin was so beautiful! There was a group of 10 of us, all couples. Everyone got their own room and except for the loft. It was a bittersweet moment, because we thought it was 5 bedrooms, but the loft had privacy issues. We looked over that with how clean the rental was, the hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. We needed a blender and they quickly brought us one. I am def going to book from them again, THIS EXACT CABIN.

It was truly amazing! The cabin was beautiful, huge, has everything anyone could need. My family fell in love with it. The view, the community, the staff was so nice and caring. They gave us a brand new hot tub cover our first day, Cable tv in every room.. dvds.. it was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

Myself, along with several other couples loved our weekend getaway at the Mountain View Chalet. The house sits atop beautiful Yonah Mountain providing breathtaking views, and there are 2 wineries within 5 minutes of the house. Additionally, Helen is a quick 20 minute drive for those interested in Oktoberfest. Overall, great location. Would go back again.

Our family had a great time at this cabin! The view is stunning, as it is a broad view of the valley below. The amenities are great: hot tub; game room with fussball, pool, table shuffleboard, and air hockey; fireplace (which we didn’t need); and a fully stocked kitchen. There was plenty of space [4 main bedrooms, high vaulted ceilings, and two porches - one in front of the house and one in back (the one with the mountain view)]. The first night, the dryer wouldn’t work, so we called the company. The next morning, Jim showed up and fixed it in a jiffy! Location-wise, it’s about 10 minutes from a small town (Cleveland), which has a Wal-Mart and some fast food joints. It’s also about 15 minutes from Helen, GA, which is an awesome, little German-style town. Once we left, we were already discussing when we would like to come back and stay in the same cabin! Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

Had a great time in the mountains enjoying the views with friends. The house was clean, everything functioned, AC worked, hot tub was great. Incredible drive up to the house. The winery 1/4 mile down the hill is also great. Could not have found a better cabin. We will be back for sure.

This is a great rental home! We were there for just a weekend but we were very pleased. The house is spacious and nicely decorated. What was previously the garage has been converted into a large game room; pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey table. The kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, and cookware. All appliances were in good order. The place was very clean. But the best part was the outstanding view of the North Georgia mountains from the deck at the back of the property. We also very much enjoyed the gas fireplace. Communication with the rental company was very good. We have stayed in many, many rental properties over the years and this ranks among the best.
