Great location and cute cabin. However, the cabin was not in the best shape and needs some maintenance and has some very concerning safety issues(Extension Cord ran under bedroom rug, no lens cover on exhaust fan in bathroom, light on dining table coming apart(I repaired), and the knob on the bath tub retaining screw was missing. Trying to adjust the water was a difficult task luckily found it before using the tub. Could have been a serious issue had it knob came off while using the tub. I have photos of the above mentioned safety concerns.

The rental cabin itself was clean, all appliances worked as expected. The lighting within the rental was a bit poor (mainly lamps) but the cabin does allow ample daylight during the day. As other reviews have mentioned, the jacuzzi tub is a great benefit; however, the hot water heater cannot provide enough hot water to actually fill it up to a good relaxing point.

The property description could use some updating. The road, and the driveway, to the rental is very steep. When we arrived, there was a severe storm passing through causing water (and a small mud slide) to come down the road in. Once we arrived to the actual cabin, the parking location is at an intense angle, especially for a bigger truck. For smaller, awd cars, it may not be an issue; however, maneuverability is very limited there. We had also planned on walking for the most part once we arrived in Helen. While this location appears to be walkable (10-15 min walk via google maps), due to the road and driveway in, I would not consider the location of this cabin walkable for multiple days.

I see that other reviews have mentioned the steepness of the driveway and road before; however, It was a big enough deal that, with multiple days of rain expected on our trip, my wife and I decided to leave the rental after the first night and stay within the town of Helen itself to make us more comfortable. This also allowed us to walk in and out of the town a bit easier, as we originally planned to walk from the rental.

This review is not a knack towards the ownership or management. I’m just providing detailed information regarding the drive and parking situation. Multiple other reviews did mention the steepness and uncomfortability of the driveway. I believe this is something that should be added to the listing; Including that larger trucks (especially anything over a half-ton) may have difficulties with parking.

The cabin was great. Clean and was exactly what we were looking for. The only downside is the driveway. I have a large truck, and it was difficult to navigate, as it is steep and small. We figured it out but the smaller the vehicle the better for this unit. Overall Great Stay, great place. Hot Tub was a huge plus!

We booked Alpine Creek to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were super excited to explore Helen and were happy to find a quiet location that was minutes from everything. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well stocked with towels, cleaning supplies, and kitchen equipment. Care instructions were clear and the guest guide was handy. The driveway is steep and getting down to the cabin was a little nerve-wracking, but it didn’t dampen our experience any. Having lots of restaurants and activities minutes away was an absolute luxury. The host was kind and responsive and it was an overall great experience. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

It was middle of the road. The hot water was limited in the inside tub and I had to shovel for 6 hours Sunday with a piece of metal I found to get the car out of the driveway. The entire driveway was a sheet of ice with no shovel, rock salt, etc

Cute, cozy, small cabin. Very good location. Clean and with good amenities, professional and helpful management staff. A Couple of cons - The lighting was hard/impossible to turn off, the living room furniture was not comfortable, the bed was very hard & the ceiling upstairs was low so my tall (6'4) husband bashed his head a few times. Overall though we enjoyed our time there.

We had a great time, location and cabin were very good, unfortunately, the previous guests left garbage in the outside garbage and the cleaning crew did not pick it up. We smelt a bad odor and had to move the can away from the cabin.

The cabin is the way to enjoy the mountains. We felt like we were in a remote setting but we were just a few minute drive from down town. Super easy to book the stay and I felt like all the information provided was accurate. Definitely be ready to enjoy the wildlife because the wildlife will come to you. We could hear the creek from the from deck of the cabin which made sitting outside during the evening really nice.

This cozy little cabin was fantastic! It featured a comfortable loft, hot tub, a very nice sized soaker tub, and fireplace. My only complaint is that there is a crack in the base of the shower, cob webs in several corners, and we couldn’t use the indoor tub because it wasn’t clean on arrival. All that said, we would still rent this cabin again. These are minor issues that did not impact our overall experience!

Loved how they put the Christmas tree up and a few decorations. Small property but very cozy. Hot tub over looking the woods was beautiful and the sound of the creek was serene. Driveway was a little sketchy but it's the mountains.

I would definitely recommend this cabin for a weekend stay or longer. The cabin was super cute and very comfortable. The views were amazing and very close to town. It is a steep park but expected when staying on a mountain. Will be looking into booking with then again in the future.

We drive a Toyota Yaris stick shift and this driveway was a little too steep for our little car to handle. Fortunately, the maintenance man and office staff worked together to get our car unstuck and our rental switched to a more flat drive just in time for me to get ready for my wedding.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and orderly. Be prepared for a steep driveway (however, it is paved). This what not a problem for us because we brought a truck. The road is narrow but so close to town, it is worth it! It is the best opportunity to stay in the wilderness each night but be so close to the amenities of town. We enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi. Linking to our own app subscriptions on the 4k tv was an added plus. The refrigerator is only medium sized so be prepared if you thought you would bring a lot of groceries in. Overall, it was just a tremendous time and the accommodations (except the smaller refrigerator and steep driveway) were everything that was promised and expected. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

The cabin was nice and clean. Just enough room for two people. Make sure you are able to climb a narrow, steep drive to the cabin and a small vehicle. We had a full size truck and getting in and out of the driveway proved to be a challenge. The driveway is steep and parking is narrow. We had a great time though.

The cabin was small and cozy! Convenient to everything in Helen! It was clean and had everything we needed. The shower could use some work, it didn’t feel clean and safe so we used the tub the whole time, which was great! Tiles in the bathroom floor need to be replaced in places and we needed a few more towels. But other than that everything was great!!

This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I for our Anniversary/Birthday celebrations. The cabin was extremely private on the side of a mountain but still very close to the downtown area. After walking around all day and eating a great dinner, we were ready to relax and watch our current series on Netflix. The living room was cozy with a fire and tv connected to the internet. I would have enjoyed a more comfortable couch though. The jacuzzi was fun but the porch needs a curtain like the other cabins have. I hung a few towels to make sure nobody could see us. We did have an issue with the digital door lock but one phone call and they sent someone to fix it within 10 minutes! Very nice and responsive. We loved the area and this cabin and would definitely stay here again!!

The place was beautifully secluded with a view and all the right appointments except one. That bed was awful. It was so loud it was a mood kill. Please make the small investment to upgrade this to a real bed and a comfortable mattress. The shower was tight but workable and the tub and hot tub were very enjoyable. The location is perfect except if there had been any snow or ice at all I believe the road and the driveway would be inaccessible.

The cabin is a very small cozy cabin! Maybe nice for first time campers but not up to standards for experience campers. Our weekend was a special trip and we pictured the cabin as seen in the photos. The photos make the cabin look larger than it actually is. The driveway to the cabin is steep, so be prepared to be stuck at the cabin if there is any ice or if it snows and you don't have 4wheel drive vehicle. We ran out of hot water before the tub was even half full. The bedroom was upstairs with low ceilings while the bathroom was downstairs. The porch was small and tight fit with a grill, table, chairs and hot tub. There wasn't any outdoor space cleared for a firepit or chairs for sitting outside. The cabin was clean but could use some updating!

This cabin was cute, clean and cozy. There could stand to be some updates, such as the shower sinks in in the center of the shower floor, the shower is very tiny and the jets in the tub didn’t work. But other than that, if a small, cozy cabin is up your alley, this would be great for you! We enjoyed our stay. As far as easy to get to, it’s pretty easy, however there are two very steep hills to get to it, so make sure you have a vehicle that will climb them!

We enjoyed our stay in this little cabin. It's very comfortable for 2 people. Steep driveway could be an issue with certain types of vehicles and road up to the cabin is one lane. It was very very clean. We cooked on the electric grill and enjoyed the hot tub. Bed was comfy. Ceiling in bedroom is low. Watch out if you're tall. There's no cable tv as advertised. Channels are Samsung plus. We were disappointed in this but you probably don't go there to watch tv anyway. Property management co called to check to see if everything was ok.which I appreciated.overall we enjoyed our stay & highly recommend this property.

This was a beautiful cabin close enough to town to get there quickly but, secluded enough you didn’t hear any traffic or noise. Extremely clean and well kept cabin. Comfortable beds and nice furniture. Hot tub was very nice and very private. Staff checked in on us a few times to make sure we were taken care of. Check-in and check-out procedures were a breeze. We will definitely use this company again on future trips. Bonus - their rates were some of, maybe even, the best we found also!!

This was a great cabin and place to stay in Helen, GA. My only issue was the location. If you don't have the correct car/truck, it may be difficult to get down the large slope of a driveway into the parking spot. Otherwise, it was clean, had great amenities and perfect for 2 people. It was close to downtown Helen but still far enough away to not feel crowded.
