Honey Bear Haven

The moment you walk into this cabin, the warmth of the floor to ceiling wood invites you to relax and restore. The wood-burning fireplace only adds to the comfort and serenity. The living room features both a comfortable leather sofa and a full-size murphy bed. With two televisions, you have the option of planning a movie night or binge watching your favorite series on satellite tv while snuggled up in front of the fireplace or from the comfort of the queen size bed in the upstairs loft.

In the kitchen you will find a full size stove, oven and refrigerator, a standard drip coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave! the cabinets are filled with all the dinnerware and cookware the chef of the group will need for a little kitchen magic. You can dine inside at the kitchen table with room for four or use the picnic table outside on the covered porch. The brand new hot tub has arrived! Enjoy a nice hot soak after a day of hiking and playing in the mountains.

Gather 'round for an evening of storytelling by the outdoor firepit and don't forget the marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers for s'mores in the mountains! If you venture away from the cabin, Honey Bear Haven is only 4 miles from downtown Helen and very close to Unicoi State Park. Unicoi features fun for the whole family with hiking trails, Anna Ruby Falls, creek fishing and bike trails.

- Minimum Age Requirement: Honey Bear Haven is available to families or to guests 25 years and older.

- Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.

- Access: The road is dirt and gravel. Not recommended for low-profile vehicles.

- Pets: Honey Bear Haven is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.

- Location: 4 miles to downtown Helen.
