Chattahoochee River House 2

We had a great weekend get-away at the Chattahoochee River House #2!! It's so spacious & comfortable & we enjoyed being right on the river & hearing it flow. The screened porch was very enjoyable & it's proximity to downtown was lovely!

Our experience was lovely. The location was really serene with river running along the back of the house, exactly what we needed to relax. The enclosed patio overlooking all the action but keeping us away from it was also a plus. Sometimes the street got noisy but it didn’t last long. The decor touches were on point throughout the house, especially well decorated for Christmas, with a tree each room. Plush linens, blankets and cushions. The bathrooms are older but clean. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Loved the secured entrance to the house via the door code. We sat by the river on our last day. Great stay overall and professional hosts.

We loved our stay at Chattahoochee River House 2. We stayed a weekend in December and it was decorated for Christmas. There was a big Christmas tree in the living room and a smaller slim tree in both of the bedrooms. My sons loved being next to the river to fish and I loved sitting in the screened in porch able to see/hear them. The location is great. Just off the main road, along the river. We didn't know Helen's Christmas parade was this weekend so that was a great surprise. We parked when we arrived and didn't go back to the car until we left - this is walking distance to everyone you want to go. We will definitely stay at this property again and would recommend to others. I did have to call the after hours service because I couldn't find the sheets for the sofa bed (they are in the guest room closet which is in the guest bath!) and they answered right away and called right back w/ the answer. All in all 10/10

This was a great relaxing stay! Easy walk to downtown shopping & restaurants. There is a dollar general in walking distance if you need anything for your stay( grocery,snacks ect...)
Bed was comfortable and love the screened in room for morning coffee or evening wine! Place was Very cozy with fireplace

This property is was perfect for Oktoberfest in Helen. Next to the Festhalle, and walkable to great restaurants and shopping. The space is very clean and the furnishings are nice, with a mountain cabin feel, but new and updated. We’re looking forward to staying here again soon.

Very We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Helen, Georgia! The location couldn’t be more perfect right in the heart of town and nestled along the river. We were able to walk to everything: restaurants, shops, tubing, and all the charming sights Helen has to offer.

The condo itself was clean, cozy, and had all the comforts of home. Waking up to the sound of the river and enjoying coffee on the balcony was the perfect start to each day. The view is absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

We will definitely being staying here again!

We have stayed in a variety of places in Helen and this was our second visit to this unit, the first visit was great we stayed upstairs and had no neighbors and it was very peaceful. This visit was a bit different lots of kids and ever time they cooked our unit filled with the smell of whatever they where cooking. We had a couple of maintenance issues the showerhead was fixed, but the leaking refrigerator leaked the whole week we were there. We called about it three times and used the bath towels around the refrigerator to prevent it from getting the carpet wet again it was obvious by the floor that it had been happening for a while. We love Helen and we will definitely be back but not sure if we will come back to this unit. If this was my unit and I was using this management company, I would be a tad bit disappointed. The location of this unit is great.

Great communication and the condo was fantastic. Perfect for 2 couples. Listen to the river while sitting on the screened porch. Walk to all the restaurants and shops. Good hiking and lovely wineries close by.

We completely loved our experience here. We literally didn’t get in the car for our whole stay. We walked to downtown, restaurants, and the two playgrounds near by. We’d definitely stay again. The house itself was also great, super clean, and everything worked well in it.

This condo was close to everything in Helen. It is very clean and comfortable. Just check to see if the elevator works otherwise you'll have 29 steps to get up to condo #2...good exercise! The screened porch was absolutely perfect for the view and the comfortable sofa inside along with a grill but there was a missing screen on one side that they said would be fixed this week. Wonderful place to be in Helen.

We had a wonderful time in Helen. The condo was clean upon arrival and the property manager checked in on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything. This Condo was absolutely perfect for my family of four! We longed to explore Helen, NC and are so thankful that we found this unit to stay in. It was within walking distance to everything in Helen & just a short drive to Unicom state park & Babyland! Located on the Chatahoochee with a large covered porch overlooking the river, two king beds and three baths, this condo was a dream!!

This is a five star rental! Great location and walking distance to everything in downtown Helen. This condo had all the amenities as home, and was super clean, cozy, and comfy. A big plus was our family also rented the first floor unit so everyone could stay close but have our own space. We will absolutely stay here again for future trips to Helen.

The cabins were perfectly located to downtown Helen. We walked, fished, dined and enjoyed the view! We booked both Cabin 1 and Cabin 2. We are each families of 4 with teenage boys and we had a great stay. We would definitely recommend these cabins for those wishing to stay in Helen.

Rental company staff were very responsive to the couple of issues we had (extremely heavy Pine Sol scent and needing access to elevator). Our ONLY issues were that the Kuerig coffee maker leaked and we were only provided with one kitchen towel (which we had to use for the leaking coffee maker) and the ice dispenser didn't always cooperate -- VERY MINOR ISSUES. A box of tissues would have been a nice thing to have. All in all, very enjoyable stay. Beautiful town. NYE at Festhall was a blast.

This rental had everything you could want for a weekend trip. We walked everywhere. Did not need a vehicle. relaxed on the screened in deck and by the river bank. was plenty big enough for two couples.

It was a very nice and relaxing place that provided some much needed R&R for my wife and me. It’s in a great location in my opinion because you aren’t right in the middle of all the people and businesses in downtown but also a few minutes walk away from everything. Again, was very please and we are already planning our next stay.

All and all we enjoyed our stay with exception of a few things that was wrong. The BBQ grill had rust on the surface where you placed your items that you wanted to grill so we didn't get to use it. The balcony just off the living room had not been cleaned. It had a lot of bird "poop" and even a nest so we could not go out on it. The fireplace in the master bedroom did not work. The lighting at the bottom of the stairs did not work. I received a call on Monday from a lady at the rental office and told her about the things we found and she asked if it was ok to send someone to see about them and I said sure. We never saw anyone and the items did not get took care of. We enjoyed being that close to the downtown area.

I want to start by saying how great GA Mountain Rentals are. We had a few minor problems and they came as soon as I called. Great service. The unit is nice and close to everything. It was clean and everything that I expected. Being on the river is wonderful. I have stayed before and would not hesitate to stay again. There are a lot of stair but one person in our group needed the elevator. I asked to use it and they were very helpful. I would not use the elevator for everyone but it is great if you have someone that has trouble with stairs.

Property is right on the river so relaxing by the water was great. The property is very well kept inside and outside. This was my 10th stay and will be coming back again. It is also close to the town center and walking distance to a lot of restaurants.

Beautiful top notch condo. We had a wonderful experience. The condo was very modern, very spacious, and super clean! We had a great time grilling out on the screened-in patio overlooking the river where we also caught a 7 pound trout leftover from the fishing tournament the week before. The only slightly negative is the condo is located on the 3rd floor which requires climbing lots of stairs. This was difficult for my 80 yr old parents, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

Let me preface this review with this - We don't come to Helen to stay inside. We go hiking, sightseeing, shopping, etc. At the end of the day we like to come back and relax by the fire in the condo. It is nice to watch a bit of television and on this particular weekend, all of the CFB conference title games were of importance to us. However, the internet and television service did not work. We called twice and submitted work orders online, but still did not work. We did get a call from the management team, and they were professional and sympathetic or seemed so, but we still did not get satisfaction. I utilized my cell phone hotspot to get internet service, but the television (ROKU) required login information and a credit card to establish an account...not happening.
This is the second time renting this unit and love the location and size of the condo, but since the change of ownership, it seems to be a bit less desirable.
If they fix the issues we would like to stay again, but if not, we will look elsewhere.
