My wife and I took a much needed break from our “way too busy” life’s and stayed at this wonderful place. Although it rained the whole time we were there, it was just perfect and made us stay in the cabin and truly enjoy each other’s company !!

We had a very nice time during our stay. Weather was excellent. Cabin is in tip top shape, clean and well stocked with utensils and cooking pot and pans, dishes glasses are all there. We used the grill twice. Always nice to cook out on the deck. The propane tank was fans in danger of running out of gas. Looking forward to our next stay in the Couples Retreat cabin

Came to visit family and relax. We had intended on cooking breakfast each morning but the frying pan is not in good shape. The mattress and pillows need replacing. The ceiling fans need cleaning. We understand that this is a cabin in the woods but the outside needs some tender loving care.

It was the perfect place for our 16 yr anniversary trip. We are definitely going to plan to go back. We spent the days exploring waterfalls to come back to the cabin to cook dinner and play pool then a relaxing in the hot tub.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday weekend. It was exactly what we needed. Loved that the hot tub was just off the master with plenty of privacy! The tv out by the hot tub was a great touch. I do wish there had been more pillows for the bed but other than that everything was great! We would absolutely come back again.

Only real issue was a lack of enough wash cloths. Only 3 for 2 guests for 3 nights. Luckily, there is a Dollar General around the corner.

We really enjoyed staying at the couples retreat cabin. It was just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Helen's Oktoberfest. The hot tub off the bedroom was an added bonus.

The cabin was exactly as described. Close to everything that we had planned for our trip. Wish we could have stayed another week. We came to trout fish and met some locals in the bar in Helen. They turned us in to the right location to catch trout. Having the cabin to return to after hiking and fishing all day made the whole trip worth while. Would stay again.

We love working with GMR. Good rates and awesome customer service. We just live a county over, but sometimes just like to get away with each other for a couple of days still within reach of kids. This cabin wasn't our favorite, but there wasn't anything that we couldn't make work. There were only 2 standard, very flat bed pillows, but we always bring our own. The sofa is definitely end of life, didn't recline. The refrigerator/freezer never got really cold, but the only part we couldn't work around was ice; we had to pick up a bag. There are plenty of linens. The hot tub was great (our last one wouldn't set above 94) and is nicely enclosed for privacy. Also has a smart tv w/it on the porch. The road is definitely a mountain road but lots of potholes to get around, so SUV if you can. It's not super close to things, about 15 minutes to Helen, so great to just hang out together and just leave for dinner. Overall, no issues we couldn't work around, and a great little getaway for us!

Loved the cabin. I just started chemotherapy and needed a little getaway from the busy life. Cabin was clean, and well equipped for my stay. My partner and we’re able to spend time to relax and enjoy the time. A big
Plus was being pet friendly. I wished the hot tube was more heated before my check in dated. I had to wait a good 24 hours before it was hot enough to enjoy.

Thank you for taking the time to review. Looking back, I see that we had a reservation leave on the morning of your afternoon arrival. After every departure, we empty, sanitize and refill the hot tub with water from the outside tap. It always takes a little time to reach temperature.

The minute I walked through the door of the couples retreat I knew we had to come back again. The atmosphere was so very warm and welcoming. The owners pay so close attention to detail all throughout. The location is just secluded enough and still be close to shopping and dining. The pool table was very fun and enjoyable while the hot tub was super relaxing. It was just what my boyfriend and I had been needing.

Some updates were made but it’s still the same happy place we started our lives together almost 20 years ago The fireplace is awesome. Bed is so comfy. Got up before sunrise to watch from the amazing deck.zzzzzzz Husband beat me every pool game. Went to Helen more than once. A very easy trip to Helen or Cleveland. Easy check in. We were “checked “ on a couple of times from management ❤️ I’m so happy we went back.

It was fine. I didn't get use of the pool table just due to such a short visit. Hot tub took awhile to heat up, wasn't even warm when we got there. Looked for blender, finally located it, never found lid but blender was "nasty dirty", like it had never been cleaned. The cabin in general was in pretty good condition.

Wonderful few days in this cozy cabin for two. Had everything we needed and the hot tub was definitely a lovely extra! Very clean and tidy, great location and very peaceful area. GMR were very quick to respond to questions except I wish they’d answered my email about firewood! Not needed as fireplace was an easy gas one. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely book again.

The cabin feel is one of warmth, coziness and tranquility. We always come to get away from the city life.

The fireplace is gas logs and a timer is used for the fire. Because of the smallness of the cabin, it doesn't take long for the room to heat up fast.

The scenery is set far back into the woods and gives you the spirit of the wilderness in which it is set. From one of our trips from town we saw several deers standing watching from the distance.

This is well worth a trip from any city or suburban life. The property management is very professional, courtesy, and easy to work with. You can't go wrong in renting any property with this management company.

Its a beautiful, quaint, and cozy log cabin to get reacquainted with your loved one. Every morning we watched the sun rise up over the beautiful horizon in the hot tub. Played pool at night and just chilled. Centrally located close to Helen, Cleveland, and Dahlonega. Must go to Anna Ruby Falls and eat at Muellers in Helen, Clydes in Cleveland, and BBQ in Dahlonega. We loved and would definitely stay there again. The roads are easy to navigate, & the country is just gorgeous. Staff was quick to answer by email or phone any questions we had. Thanks again it made our 25th anniversary super special.

My wife and I have enjoyed vacationing in the north Georgia mountains off and on for decades. This was our 30th anniversary and this cabin was just the place we were looking for! Off the beaten path but close enough to town, this one bedroom cottage offered us peace and quiet with just enough amenities from home. The bed was a bit small and soft for my taste, but my wife didn’t seem to have any trouble sleeping. The hot tub was especially relaxing! We were thankful for our weekend there.

We had a very nice stay at the "Couples Retreat". We were in the area for a few days and decided to enjoy this nice little cabin a few weeks before our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The Hot Tub was nice and we enjoyed the secluded feel of the place, the pool table downstairs, and having coffee on the back deck in the morning. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a nice retreat for two people.

I got away to clear my head while doing my job virtual. The cabin was perfect and more perfect than what I had expected from seeing the picture. The cabin was clean, there was no evidence that pets had been there before mine; and it was absolutely in the perfect setting where there was not any traffic.

The only exception, was the neighbor who was a little noisy a couple of times but very friendly. This was the only thing and it was not a fact to keep me from renting this awesome cabin again in December or any time. This should not even be considered a factor for you either. He did not wake me up. The only time I noticed was when I was on the deck or outside.

My husband and I stayed 3 days to celebrate my 56th birthday. It was a perfect retreat! We enjoyed some nearby hiking trails, and local shopping and dining in Cleveland. I loved the coziness of the cabin so much ....I enjoyed some fall baking, relaxing in front of the fireplace and the hot tub was awesome!! It's conveniently located approx. 7 mi. from town, yet isolated enough to be away from everything. We've stayed in several cabins throughout the years; this is probably my favorite. The downstairs basement was spotless and offered an additional full bath, pool table and plenty of seating area. The dishes were spotless and everything you could possibly use in the kitchen was clean and in great condition. The bed was very comfortable; we rested well and did not awaken with aching backs.

The Couples Retreat was a perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our 49th anniversary. The cabin was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed steaks on the grill and a few fun games of pool in the basement. It was very quiet and relaxing. All of the cooking utensils were supplied, all we needed was the food.

This cabin is remotely located in Cleveland which is a short drive to Cleveland or Helen. You can cook your sweetie a nice meal with the fully equipped kitchen or use the charcoal grill. Play a game of pool, soak in the hot tub, or watch some television to keep your self occupied in the house or go for a walk. It is also friendly for your furry friend. Enjoy.

The rental was adorable and in a great location. We liked the secluded feel and had access to surrounding towns, trails and adventure. We enjoyed our coffee on the back porch every morning and grilled on the coal bbq very evening. During the days we hiked trails at Smithgull State Park, Duke Creek Falls and Anna Ruby waterfall. We drove to the top of Bell Mountain in nearby Hiawassee and even went white water kayaking down the river. We will be back for sure!

The cabin is perfect for a couple's getaway. The layout is great and even perfect for an old dog! :) We really enjoyed ourselves. You can stay there and keep yourselves entertained, just bring you food, drink, and charcoal for the grill. Netflix, hot tub, and pool table are great additions to your stay. I can honestly say that you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyed our time here. The cabin was clean. Georgia mountain cabin rentals people were great to deal with, and very attentive to your needs while you're there.
The only only disappointment was TV service, the lack of local channels and regular TV channels.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This cabin was perfect in every way for us. It was well stocked on housewares. We ate out only once and cooked everything else in the cabin. Just down the road from Yonah Mountain Vineyards, too. We will be staying here again. We could have used one more dish towel and that's it. It was just the two of us and we rode on a Harley Road Glide to get there with no problems.

This is a very cute and comfortable cabin for two. It is nice to have the downstairs area to play pool or even use the hide a bed down there for 2 more. A family of 4 could use this but it would be a little tight. I like that the cabin is away from Helen and the other towns, so it is kind of remote. However, be aware it is not private as there are two occupied homes a stones throw away. The only minor downside is the hot tub is quite old, and it struggles to keep temp for longer than 15 min, but that is a very minor issue with a otherwise very nice cabin.

We so enjoyed our stay at Couples Retreat. Everything was absolutely perfect. The cabin was extremely clean. We had to cut our trip short by 1 day due to the weather but no complaints due to the other days being beautiful. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

There only two minor inconveniences and they were the water Chrisley going down to where I couldn't take a shower in the kitchen not having a better variety of utensils to cook with other than that this is a place I will most definitely refer to friends

The cabin was very cute, however the curtains and bedding were extremely low end ! Also the ceiling fans and curtain rods need a good cleaning, the ceiling fan threw dust bunnies everywhere. I would recommend to a friend but with hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Couple's Retreat. It was plenty of room for just the two of us. It was very conveniently located to several of the towns in the area and to several hiking trails. Loved having the hot tub to relax in and the pool table was fun too. We would definitely look to stay here again when we come back to this area.

Wishing the leaves were a little further along on their color changing process (not reflective of the cabin, just the timing on my part). Still lots of green, we came the last weekend in October. Hopefully that can help someone in the future. Vwry close to Helen. Hot tub and pool table were big contributing factors to the great experience. In addition to that, the adventure package (explorie) is the cherry on the top! The only negative Feedback I would give is that the living room couch smells like animal urine
