Horseback Riding

Sunburst Adventures has exciting outdoor thrills for the whole family. Only two hours from Atlanta, they are located in the Blue Ridge mountain range in Batesville, a small town in the county of Habersham. They are minutes from Helen, Clarkesville, Cleveland, and several state parks. There are thousands of acres available for horseback riding and all kinds of outdoor activities such as ziplining, ATV trail rides, and much more. Families, adults, singles, and groups looking for a getaway are surprised to find us tucked away but also so close to shopping, dining, whitewater rafting, and just about any outdoor sport you could want.

Nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains covering over 150 acres in the historic Sautee Nacoochee Valley. We have been in operation as a horseback riding facility since 1987 so we have plenty of experience riding the trails.

Horseback rides are suitable for any experience level, and riders seven years and older ride on their own horse. Ride options also include mountain rides, Lunch rides and sunset rides.
