Overall a great place. Very quite location. Only negative at all is the road up to the cabin is rough. Will stay again in the future.

Great little cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had a toddler so we parked our vehicle at the end of the driveway and very easily walked to town. I don't think the stroller would have made it up and down the drive. Side note when you arrive at the cabins, the address marker is at the first cabin, but this one is the last one on the right (there are 3 cabins in all). The cabin is small and quaint, but it needs a good dusting. Overall we enjoyed it.

Awful...rip off...avoid this place...mold
Mold from water infiltration, siding damaged allowing water into the structure, cob webs, no cable tv, fridge does not work we had to throw away the food, fireplace does not work, beds like rocks, furniture from yard sales, dark cave like tiny living room. The furnace filter looks like it has never been changed. Thankfully we only booked for the weekend and not any longer. We left early, just could not cope with the living conditions. The mold set off asthma reaction for my spouse. I have photos documenting the issues but I can’t post them.

Wonderful trip to Helen Ga
We found the Cricket a quaint little cabin in the woods far enough away to not hear traffic noise but close enough to town. The cabin was clean and came with all the amenities for our stay. Great couples cabin. Couple of us found the walkway to cabin a bit of a challenge with uneven steps and tree limbs low across the walkway, would not stop us from staying again. The staff was wonderful and checked in on us, all in all great trip and would stay again

super close to downtown Helen
Property is within walking distance to downtown Helen. It doesn't look like anyone has dusted in over a year..and there was DampRid in several places in the kitchen. A really good cleaning on everything high up (including top of kitchen cabinets) is needed. We would stay here again. Just hope a thorough cleaning happens before that :)

Cabin rustic, woodsy atmosphere, well furnished, off beaten path.
Cabin well furnished, beautiful, close to town, rustic interior, loved staying there. But, back porch unusable due to tree sap falling, needs back porch roof to cover. No decent chairs due to sap. Squirrel living around interior wall by fireplace, eating acorns at night. Road is not maintained to cabin, trucks ok to use.

Mountain Cabin
This is my second time at this cabin. I love that it's secluded yet within a few minutes of the town of Helen and, it's always nice to see the horses, at the ranch along the road into town. Be advised the road is a bit rough going up the hill. The leasing company is very professional and courteous.

Clean cabin worked well for couple's getaway
This cabin was clean and had everything my husband and I needed for a kid-free getaway. We slept in the loft area, which stayed dark even after the sunrise. There was another whole bedroom and bathroom so the cabin could sleep five people. But the living room only had a two-person love seat and a small dining table with three chairs. So, while the cabin sleeps five comfortably, I'm glad it was just the two of us spending time there because there really wasn't room to socialize with anyone else. The cabin was close to downtown Helen. Property management provided lots of information before, during, and after our stay.

Never again!
This little cabin required a four wheel drive to even get to it. The deck was filthy and you could not use. The grill was nasty as well. There was a spider in the pillow. It was not a pleasant stay at all.

Perfection
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Cricket Hill cabin. It was clean, roomy for the 4 of us, close to town but secluded in the woods. It had everything we could want in our home away from home. My only suggestions for improvement would be better instructions to the cabin once you reach the top of the hill and instructions on how to operate the TV.

Adorable Mountain Cabin
Perfect for our needs for a family of 4 weekend in Helen. For the most part clean, though the decor above the kitchen cabinets was REALLY dusty, as were the ends of the bed frames near the wall. Biggest frustration was the shower is a mere trickle of water, I’ve never experienced such a lack of water pressure before. Also, only two bowls when we’d planned cereal for breakfast was frustrating. One small couch for two people in a cabin for up to 5 makes no sense, and table and 4 chairs are quite crowded since the space is small. My 6 and 11 year old sons loved the loft, having the w/d was great to clean our suits and towels after our river tubing day, loved being off in a wooded area yet still really near and convenient to downtown Helen. Would stay again!

Great getaway cabin!
It’s a little hard to find- would be helpful if the cabins had their names on them. Everything was perfect for my husband, myself and our 3 kiddos! It was clean, in a quiet location and close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!!

First the good: The unit was clean.

Without seating on either the rear deck or front porch, occupants are limited to staying indoors. Tree sap on deck meant even leaning on the deck railing required scrubbing hands to remove the sap.

Space is very limited in the kitchen/dining/common area -- so much so that it was very difficult to open the refrigerator without one guest getting up from the table.

Also despite the description/instructions from management there is no dishwasher.

Finally, and most importantly, as much as we searched there is no signage whatsoever to indicate the address -- so good luck to whomever arrives at the property. There is a very faded sign that is indirectly hinted at in the directions, but good luck if you arrive after dark. We never found "Carrie Cox Drive" on anything.

Great Cabin, Horrible Access Road
Our cabin was very accommodating and clean. It has everything you could need to have a nice stay. Our biggest complaint was the road leading up to the cabin. It was horrible and very poorly maintained. The only way to get to the cabin in our vehicle was to zig and zag from one side of the road to the other and even then we worried about damage to our vehicle. We wouldn't rent a cabin at that address again simply because of the road conditions. Also, the refrigerator did not keep things cold, even after we turned it up to the coldest setting and let it sit for a few hours. Our stuff was still barely cold.

A GREAT Getaway in Helen!
Cricket Hill was exactly the "getaway" we were looking for! We LOVED the location! It is a secluded cabin but close enough to Helen for shopping and restaurants. The cabin was exactly as described online and was even roomier than we anticipated.

There was a lot of rain while we were in Helen, which caused some issues with the road to the cabin. However, that didn't dampen the trip - it just made us pay close attention to road conditions. If you are looking for a rustic experience, this one is for you!

Nice Time with My Grandson
The Cricket Hill cabin was adequate for what we needed as the purpose of the trip was to take my 10 year-old grandson on his first fly fishing adventure. The biggest challenge was finding and getting to the cabin. The directions were not clear, and the road up to the cabin is in bad shape. My CR-V had some damage to the underside trying to navigate up the narrow and unimproved road to the cabin.

Cabin was nice, needs some outdoor furniture on back and front deck. A nice comfortable chair in cabin would be nice. Back deck has a bad sap issue, needs a covering of some sort.

A wonderful Stay
It was very nice, clean and peaceful. We are excited to use our repeat customer discount and come back! Next time we hope to bring our son and make it more family style but it was very cozy for My husband and I. And it was so close to The center of Helen that We were able to find parking WITHOUT hitting the Main Street and sitting in traffic. Also close enough to state parks we didn’t have to drive but maybe 5 minutes to get to the closest. It was very enjoyable.

Quaint, Quiet, Clean
Great for a small group of 4. Clean and quiet. If hot tub is important to you, be warned, it has a jetted tub in the bathroom not a traditional hot tub located outside. That caught us off guard. Besides that...highly recommend!

Photos do no justice!
Honestly I was not excited about our reservation maybe because of the photos. That changed as soon as we got there. Loved the place, small but cute. All around clean, except under the beds, reached to pick up something and got some dust web along with it, but everything else looked clean. Look for the two tall pillars on the right, we got there at night and GPS does not take you straight to cabin. thank you, We will be back!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin. It would have been nice to have known of the off road steep driveway in advance but it was travelable for our Subaru. We are booking next time on the river. We had a great weekend.

Quiet Cabin in the woods
We had a little bit of a hard time finding the cabin, but once we did it was fine. It is up a little gravel road so, if you have just a tiny city car you might have some trouble. Luckily we were in our Outback so we were able to drive up just fine. It is near Helen but not totally a walkable location unless you are more adventurous. But is was close so that was noce.
