Overall, we had a great time in the area, lots of things to do. As far as the rental, everything was clean and in good working order.

We had a great time at our cabin in Helen. Very secluded in beautiful woods next to a small creek. Clean cabin conveniently located 5 minutes from Helen. We will be back!

We had a great time staying with creekside haven. Wish we could have stayed longer though. First trip with a toddler so we were nervous but everything was great with the cabin. We got a courtesy call the next day after arrival and a follow up email since I didn’t have great service. The creek out back is neat, my daughter and niece loved panning in it for their rocks. I would say the only downfall was no washer and dryer and with having 5 people with dirty laundry for a week worth’s it was a bummer to not be able to do before heading home. Other than that everything and everyone was great! Will definitely be using Georgia Mountain Rentals again. Thank you

What a peaceful place! Even though it's not far off the main highway, it's very quiet - no road noise. I was quite pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels and blankets. There wasn't a lot of hot water -- enough for one shower, so plan accordingly.
The creek was lovely. It would be nice if there were still a swing there.
The location couldn't be better! A short drive to Helen, and just over a mile to Unicoi State Park. Please note that the road and driveway are gravel. We had no trouble, but I don't recommend coming in and out the back way -- one lane gravel road with lots of hills. Follow the directions from the rental agency - the cabin is very easy to find.
The wifi was excellent. The check in and out procedures were very easy and quick. I'd love to come back!

We loved our stay at Creekside Haven. It is very close to Helen GA and right on top of the state park which was fantastic. The property was clean upon arrival. Only thing I would say to improve on would be a dishwasher. We have stayed with Georgia Mountain Rentals before and have yet to be disappointed. I love that they call and make sure you are having a great stay.

Pros: The cabin was very clean and well furnished. Three bedrooms gave plenty of sleeping arrangements. Large side porch. Area for outside fire. Secluded. Cons: Nonrefundable damage deposit. Two abandoned cabins nearby (yards grownup around). No washer/dryer (important feature, I forgot to check before booking). Not a good place to walk around the area. Access road too narrow to be safe walking. I wouldn't select this management company again.

We picked this rental because of its close location to Helen. We came up to float the river with the family. The cabin was as described, and it was clean. My only suggestion would be to get some nicer mattresses as they were very uncomfortable. Aside from that everything was great. The kids liked the small creek that ran along the back side of the property and we enjoyed playing cards at the kitchen table and listening to the rain on the metal roof. Overall a great weekend getaway.

It was wonderful! Perfect for our family of 5. 2 adults 3 children (15,12,3) very short distance to downtown Helen. Plenty of quietness around cottage.

The property met every expectation we had when we decided to spend a few days in the mountains. It has the privacy and peace we were looking for, but also is only a few minutes from Helen's downtown. It was clean and everything offered in the online listing was there. We will definitely go back to this property.

La cabaña muy bonita, limpia agradable,
hubo un pequeño inconveniente el olor a las almohadas no fue muy agradable olía a guardado y no encontramos reemplazo u tampoco no tenia lavadoray secadora y para 4 días nos hizo mucha falta tener ropa limpia, de resto la cabaña muy acogedor

Our experience at our cabin rental was very good. The sign for the cabin was on the ground so we had a bit of trouble finding it. The only problems we had was which remote to use for the TV and how to get the bedroom fan to come on. The cabin was warm and comfortable.

It was a rainy weekend on Thursday and Friday. Saturday an Sunday were nice and clear. The cabin was nice and had everything I needed for cooking. Our bedrooms were nice for my daughter and myself. Plenty of of space for 2 people. It took us a while to figure out how to work the TV remote. With wifi our cellphone got occasional service, without it none. The online pictures were pretty accurate except for the wooden swing. I was looking forward to it. What is there instead was not appealing.
Overall my visit was good.

such a relaxing experience. Sit on the porch, watch the trees twinkle in the sunlight and hear the water from the creek meander along. At night the fire pit gave warmth as we watched the flames climb high and saw fireflies twinkle in the distance. Inside our cozy cottage we slept sweet dreams and hope to return in the fall.

This was a neat, roomy, little 3 bed, 2 bath cabin tucked in the woods and close to a relaxing little creek. It was close enough to everything once we started rambling. It was clean and just what we needed. I, however, didn't quite understand the $118.80 tax added to the $792.00 subtotal; couldn't figure out why that amount.

We had a great time on our trip. The cabin, while not furnished in the newest fashion, was comfy and cozy. We had everything that we needed. The only negative is the television. There are no directions, no satellite. It had some apps, but we could not use our netflix or prime, but we were able to watch some HGTV. Overall, it was a great place to stay. We did have a visitor (black bear) on the last night of our stay. He was trying to get into the trash can. We scared him off by banging pots and pans. So, if you have kids with you, don't let them go to the creek by themselves and be aware that they are out there.

We travel from Florida about 7 hours drive we got there just following the directions straight forward, beautiful place, perfect size we love our little vacation and be able to be close to town it was perfect.

We had an amazing time. The folks at Georgia Mountain Rentals are great and very friendly. They even called the day after we arrived and checked on us to see how things are going. The house was clean, and we love the secludution of the house. We will definitely be back.
