It was a cute cabin. The bed was very uncomfortable! Could at least put a king size comfortable be since there is not even a couch. There was no water pressure. And cobwebs everywhere. Most of the jets in the hot tub did not work. Wish we were told that the bill was so rough because we came in a little sports car. It was very quiet but definitely could use some work.

It sounds like the cabin was not what you were looking for! Know that we always want to take care of any issues that we possibly can -- I'm surprised the cobwebs got past our inspectors. We have not had complaints about water pressure or the bed so we will check into that. If you stay with us again, please let us know about issues when we make our courtesy call and we will do our best to resolve what we can. When you say everything is ok, we think it is!

WAS FUN BUT WAY TO EXPENSIVE ALL IT IS THERE NOW IS GIVE ME YOUR MONEY.TRYING TI GET AS MUCH OF IT AS THEY CAN, VERY SAD, WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN. CABIN WAS CLEAN BUT COULD NOT OPEN BATHROOM WINDOW, NO VENT, PILLOWS WERE LIKE CARDBOARD TERRIBLE, BED WAS VERY SMALL TOO,HOT TUB WAS MISSING TOP CONTROLS TO MAKE THE TUB WORK.COULD NOT WALK AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF CABIN COVERED WITH POISON IVY AND FULL OF OVERGROWTH NO MAINTENANCE AT ALL. COULD NOT SIT OUTSIDE TO ENJOY THE WEATHER ONLY ONE FOLD UP CHAIR,,DRIVE TO THE CABIN WAS FULL OF VERY BAD DEEP RUTS VERY DANGEROUS.WOULD NOT EVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN VERY COSTLY TOO.

Hi Gordon, we do care about our guest. We made a courtesy call to you the day after you checked in and you said everything was good. This is a copy of what the representative put in the notes. We will be replacing the pillows immediately. If you would have said something when we called we could have taken care of it. 07/24/23 JW Courtesy call, everything is good. They are enjoying the lake at Unicoi today.

loved the open floor plan, amenities of cabin, soft bed, good supply of towels, and kitchen necessities. The cabin was easy to find, outside lights were on at time of arrival. I would like to have had an interior lock on the door to feel 100% safe as I do not fully trust the lock that I cannot tell is locked from the inside of the cabin. A 2nd safety feature lock would have been nice to have for peace of mind. The hot tub needs some TLC - the head rests are missing, the jets are floating in the tub and would not stay in place, the controls to adjust the jets were also broken - if you are looking to stay in hot tub this cabin is not for you until these features are fixed. We did not use the fireplace or grill. Tall ceilings and rough wood are get for cobwebs, and the cabin had plenty - its kind of expected. I would recommend the property for location and cozy for a couple - I do not recommend the hot tub.

We enjoyed the weekend in the nice open space. The cabin was clean. The location was perfect and quiet even thought there are other rentals near by. The hottub needs maintenance as the lights did not work and some of the jets were missing the diverted. The wood burning stove was nice but we had a difficult time keeping a fire lit as the doors were removed and replaced with a screen.

The property was very lovely, clean, and in a nice location that has lots to offer. Yet, the water gets cold quickly and the hot tub never heated up..

Such a great stay at the Lazy Bear Den! Everything was exceptionally clean and comforting. I loved how close it was to the Helen shops and restaurants. I would stay here again!

I'd like to start off by saying the cabin was very clean and well stocked with the necessary items. As far as the location it left alot to be desired. An abandoned bus set directly behind the cabin. I realize this is out of the rental agencies hands but didn't make for a nice lot. Off the deck were lots of fallen trees. Not a whole lot of scenery to enjoy. With that being said we did receive good communication from the agency making sure we had what we needed.
